The problem
You can't watch your own approach.
By the time the ball hits the pins, the moment that decided the shot is gone. Was it the pushaway? Did you stay down at the line? Did your timing drift? Video helps, but a clip on its own doesn't tell you what to look at.
"I felt like I stayed down. Did I?"
PinForm draws your forward lean on the release frame."Something's off with my steps tonight."
PinForm finds each step and how long it took."Is my speed changing when I miss?"
PinForm measures ball speed off your hand, shot to shot. How it works
Prop. Bowl. Look.
Prop up your phone
On a stand beside the approach, or behind it. PinForm shows you where the camera should go.
Bowl your set
Leave it recording. Film a set picks out each shot on its own, and keeps each bowler's throws apart.
See every shot
Angles, steps, timing and release on your own video, right after the shot.
Body position
The angles, drawn on your own frames.
PinForm finds your body in the video and marks the moments that matter: pushaway, top of the backswing, slide and release. Then it measures them.
- Forward lean, knee bend and balance at the line
- Head stability through the approach
- Power step, getting lower and your finish
- Each one against its target and against your own usual

Release Lab
Know your speed. See your release.
From a side-on clip, PinForm measures ball speed off your hand, where the ball leaves you and how you're standing when it does.
- Ball speed with its range, shot after shot
- Lean and slide knee at the moment the ball leaves your hand
- Each one marked Measured or Rough estimate, never dressed up

Steps and timing
Every step, found and timed.
PinForm counts your steps, shows where each foot lands and how long each step takes, so you can see when your tempo rushes or your timing slips.
- Step count, checked against your usual
- The time between footfalls, step by step
- Slide to release, measured on every throw

Compare
Your good shot next to your miss.
Put two throws side by side, lined up at the pushaway, the top, the slide or the release. Step through them a frame at a time and see exactly where they split.
- Line up any checkpoint, both videos stay in sync
- Zoom to the bowler, or a ghost of one throw over the other
- Compare today with last month

Progress
Watch the work pay off.
Every throw lands in your history. See your scores session by session, how consistent you are, and the one measurement you're working on.
- Trend by week, month or all time
- Pin a focus measurement and track it on every throw
- Separate profiles for each bowler

Wear OS
Your results, on your wrist.
Leave the phone on its stand. Start and stop filming, switch who's bowling and see each result from your watch, with a buzz when it's ready. Tag strikes, spares and opens with a tap.

Who it's for
Built for the people at the lane.
Bowlers
One-handed or two-handed, right or left. See what you felt, and fix it before it becomes a habit.
Parents
Film your kids from behind the approach. Each bowler gets their own profile, so their throws and progress never mix.
Coaches
Checkpoints on real frames, compare before and after, and notes per bowler. A second pair of eyes for every lane.
Private by design
Analysis runs on your phone. Your videos are never uploaded, and there's no account to create.
Honest numbers
Measurements come with a range, labelled Measured or Rough estimate, and PinForm tells you when a clip can't show something.
A practice aid
PinForm shows you what happened. Pair it with a good coach and you'll know exactly what to work on.
FAQ
Questions
What do I need?
An Android phone and something to stand it on: a tripod, a phone stand or the ball return. A Wear OS watch is optional.
Where should the camera go?
Beside the approach, side-on, for form and ball speed. Behind the approach, down the lane, for your line and sway. PinForm shows you what makes a good clip.
Does it upload my videos?
No. Analysis runs on your phone and your videos stay there. See the privacy policy.
Does it work for two-handed bowlers?
Yes. One-handed and two-handed, right- and left-handed.
Can I film handheld?
For form, yes, if you hold it still. Ball speed needs the phone on a stand.
Is it on iPhone?
Android first. PinForm is in testing on Google Play now.
